Two historical dates between Israel and the UAE

At the end of August 2020, the first plane landed in the UAE, which flew from Israel with official Israeli delegates, as well as advisers and representatives from the United States.

On August 13, 2020, the authorities of Israel and the UAE announced a global diplomatic and political agreement on long-term cooperation between the countries.

Also, Saudi Arabia contributed to the signing of the aforementioned agreement by giving permission for the crossing of its airspace on board with delegates from Israel.

August 29, 2020, and the whole of August became a very important date for the United Arab Emirates and Israel, on this day the “boycott” that has been in effect against Israel for the last 50 years was canceled.

The United Arab Emirates became the 3rd country to recognize Israel as a separate country. The first countries who recognized Israel were Egypt and Jordan.

The delegation that arrived on board from Israel to the UAE included the adviser of the American President Jared Kushner. Also, the national security adviser Meir Ben-Shabbat arrived from Israel for the talks.

Many countries, including the countries of the Middle East, have long hoped for the signing of the long-awaited cooperation agreements.
