Breakthrough in Israel and UAE relations

Breakthrough in Israel and UAE relations

The year 2020 has had a negative impact on the life of the world's population. However, this year has brought a lot of unusual and promising news, namely in the political sphere. The centuries-old confrontation between Arabs and Jews grew into a political alliance and certain agreements.

Great hopes are pinned on the agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates that can end the confrontation and lead to peace in the Middle East.

Thanks to the support of the United States, which contributed and actively participated in the negotiations, an agreement on cooperation and diplomatic relations was signed between the UAE and Israel. The persons involved in the signing were US President Donald Trump, Abu Dhabi Prince Mohammed bin Zayed and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Previously, there were no formal diplomatic agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, although, according to unofficial sources, both countries have tried earlier to establish unofficial cooperation.

According to the UAE Ambassador to the United States, the agreement marked a victory on the whole regional and even global level.

In the near future, delegations arriving in the UAE from Israel will have to sign various bilateral agreements on business investment in tourism and culture, health and safety, technology development and air travel between the countries.
